The Oracle
by Dan Ghenacia and The Alpha Wave Experience Collective
The Oracle is a transformative art installation that merges light, sound, and the mind to create an immersive meditative experience. Conceived by Dan Ghenacia and crafted by the Alpha Wave Experience collective, this piece invites participants to journey inward through the interplay of flickering lights and soundscapes.
Suspended in its environment, The Oracle is a rotating light sculpture designed to stimulate the optic nerve. The flickering light patterns induce alpha brainwave frequencies, often associated with states of deep relaxation and heightened creativity. Participants lie beneath the installation, eyes closed, as the visual flashes conjure vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and intricate patterns within their minds. The effect is likened to the introspective, visionary experiences of an ayahuasca ceremony, with The Oracle itself serving as the shaman guiding the journey.
Accompanying this visual spectacle is a meticulously designed soundscape by Dan Ghenacia and Javier Ferrer, delivered through a 3D sound system. The multi-layered audio envelops the space, creating a fully immersive environment that deepens the experience and enhances the meditative state.
First commissioned for the Lille3000 Art Fair and later showcased at venues like CENTQUATRE-PARIS and El Silencio Ibiza, The Oraclehas captivated tens of thousands of visitors. Its ability to induce profound relaxation and exploration of the subconscious mind makes it a beacon at the intersection of art, meditation, and psychedelics.
Through The Oracle, Ghenacia challenges participants to embrace a new form of introspection, blurring the lines between consciousness and altered states, art and ritual, and science and spirituality. This is not just an installation—it is an invitation to connect deeply with oneself and the universe.

ad/ab Atom
by Ryoichi Kurokawa
ad/ab Atom is an audiovisual installation based on data on nano-level and microscopically detected materials where the laws of nature are governed by quantum mechanics. This piece is composed of 7ch/5ch displays and 4ch multi sound. Design of display alignment is taking twist structure and creating equally phase shifts.
This work is collaborative project with INL(International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory), all scientific materials are gathered at INL with scientists at Department of Quantum Materials, Science and Technology/QuantaLab.
Observed image data by electron microscopy/scanned probe, and computational data such as generated 2D/3D plot and mathematical modelling are analysed, filtered and distorted into artistic rendering. Those subvisible modules translated into human perceptible phenomena are ordered into audiovisual composition.
The term “ad” in the title means “to/toward” etymologically as a prefix in words of Latin origin and “ab” means “away from”. It is recombinant of neologism “adatom/abatom” which means “to atom/from atom” where the law governing the nature blurs.
By approaching reconstruction of scientific data with the objective of nano level, this work sets out the travel into atomic scale space where the viewers could experience the distorted highly magnified world.
